Geological Phenom!  Abram Hewitt State Forest will have you breathless from rigorous hiking and splendid views!  This 2000 acres state forest offers all the features outdoor loving folks look for.  Rocky moraines formed in the ice age define the landscape of the park.  Hike on any number of trails including the Appalachian Trail which meanders its way to Bearfort Ridge or take one of the other state managed trails.  It is directly adjacent to Wayawanda State Park which offers tens of thousands more acres to explore.
